Kiddo! May Phonathons Need Your Help
Our Kiddo! Donation Day was the strongest one to date! Thanks to those of you who helped make this possible. But, we have a ways to go to accomplish our financial goals and preserve our wonderful art and music programs. And this year, Kiddo! would like to fully fund classroom and library aides due to the latest round of state cuts.

We have Kiddo! phonathons occurring on May 18, 20, 23 and 27 at the Kiddo! office (in the Middle School). We could really use some volunteers! It starts at 6 p.m. with training. We'll even have FREE pizza donated from Small Shed Flatbread in Mill Valley. Your help is needed and appreciated. You can reach out to parents at Edna Maguire and in your own grade. Your efforts really do make a difference.

Please contact Rufus Jeffris with your availability. Hope we see you!

Mark Your Calendars for Open House, June 2
Visit your kids' classes and find out more about what they've been learning this year. Take advantage of this opportunity to check out some of the exciting projects they've been working on and to chat with their teachers. Please check the Edna website later this week for times.

Your Opinion Counts: Take the MVSD Survey
The Mill Valley School District conducts an annual parent survey to help assess our performance and perceptions in key areas. Your participation is important and helpful! All survey responses are anonymous. No personal information is recorded when you take the survey. Click here to take the survey or copy and paste http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KKS6L5X.

Edna Variety Show a Hit!
Once again, Edna students proved that they've got talent to spare! Unfortunately, the names of three of these incredible performers were accidentally left off the show's program: Macy Taylor, Kerry Taylor and Hannah Alpert lit up the stage in Crowning Glory. The variety show organizers deeply regret this error and apologize to these talented young ladies.

If you missed the Greatest Little Show on Earth, or you just loved it so much you want to see it again, you can purchase a DVD for just $10. An order sign-up sheet is in the front office. We're accepting orders through May 21.

Don't Forget to Turn In Your Library Books!
As we wind up the school year, please make sure to return all library books by Friday, May 28. Thank you for your help in making sure all books are returned on time!

Reminder: Reimbursements for PTA Receipts
Thanks to the Edna teachers and parents who have bought supplies for various events this year. If you wish to be reimbursed for your purchases, please turn in your receipts with a completed reimbursement form to the PTA Treasurer's (Suzanne Alpert) mailbox in the Edna office. You'll find reimbursement forms on our website. Thanks!

Last Chance to Order Hot Lunches is June 9
Revolution Foods will deliver hot lunches through the last day of school. Just be sure to place your orders by 5 p.m. on June 9.

Way to Go, Pearson Ames!
Pearson Ames, a fourth-grader in Ann Eschoff's class, recently won a county-wide poster contest sponsored by the Tiburon Salmon Institute! The institute will use Pearson's winning poster all over Marin and San Francisco to advertise its annual "Kiss and Release" event.  Here is Pearson's awesome work:
