Frequent Rider Program at Edna Maguire Coming in April
Choose freedom from your car and win prizes for walking, biking and carpooling to school in the Frequent Rider Miles Contest. For the four weeks between Monday, April 6th and Friday, May 8th, students will be rewarded for getting to school in these healthy ways. Make sure your child fills out the Frequent Rider Mile Cards to make them eligible to win prizes, including a gift certificate for a new bike! Look for the Frequent Rider cards in your child's Wednesday folder and review the instructions carefully. Children who are unable to participate can still volunteer to help make posters or hand out prizes.
Remember, carpooling is when two or more families travel to school together. Please see the MVSD Directory on page 13 to find other Edna families with whom to carpool.

MVSD Special Study Session
Come to the Special Study Session regarding the District budget, March 25th at 6:00 p.m. at Mill Valley Middle School.
Each year, the MVSD Board uses this session to discuss and study the District's finances as one component of the District budget development process. This is a regular board meeting on a single topic and there is no board action taken on the agenda topic. Also, public comment is limited to the single agenda topic. The District will review its financial forecasting model as part of the session. Staff and commission members will also discuss the District's immediate and long-term financial health in light of its three-year strategic action plan, the state budget, and general economic indicators that impact the District budget.
